Manufacturing environments are hard on technology. Dust, humidity, vibration, temperature swings. Hardware fails faster on a production floor than it does in an office.

Then there are the machines themselves. We've got clients still running Windows XP because upgrading the controller means paying Siemens a seven-figure bill to retool an entire production line. We've got Server 2003 in the field. You get stuck sometimes, and "just upgrade it" isn't an answer when the price tag requires a new manufacturing line to go with it.

A lot of MSPs will flag that as a liability in every report, every quarterly review, every conversation. They keep telling you to upgrade something you've already decided you can't upgrade. We get it. We understand the difference between a real security risk and a calculated business decision you've already made. Our job is to protect what we can't replace: network segmentation to isolate legacy machines, endpoint monitoring around systems you can't touch, and backup strategies that account for the fact that your most critical equipment is also your most vulnerable.

Our average response time across all clients is under an hour. For emergencies, we drop everything. You define what counts as an emergency for your business. If your ERP going down means the floor stops, that's an emergency, and we treat it like one.

A lot of MSPs will manage your email, your servers, and your workstations. That's table stakes. What they won't do is walk your production floor and understand how the network connects to machines that were installed before they were in business.
